PB: Heath Ledger Birth Location: South Lake Tahoe, CA Personality: Alex is a guy's guy. He likes women, booze, and classic cars that go fast. Overall, he is very easygoing sort of guy. It takes a lot to get a rise out of him, generally speaking, and he tends to be very low-key. He is not the type of guy that feels the need to impress people. He doesn't put on airs for anyone, doesn't pretend to be someone that he isn't. He's a very down to earth and likeable sort of guy. Although it is not intentional, he's a bit of a heartbreaker. He's not at a point in his life where he's looking for much more than some ocassional companionship and a good time. In spite of that, girls tend to fall for him because he is a good and honest guy. In the end, however, they end up broken hearted because the minute that commitment enters into the picture, he hits the road with no excuses made. He never gives the impression that he's looking for more and doesn't feel bad about it when he makes it clear that that just isn't for him. There are but two things that really test his temper. One would be people fucking with his family, his older sister in particular. Even though he was born second, he still feels like he's her older brother, and as such, it is his charge to protect her, keep her safe. If someone fucks with her, they fuck with him, and he doesn't take very kindly to that. With his parents it's a little different. Granted, he wouldn't appreciate it, but he doesn't feel as though he needs to look out for them like he does Serena. The other thing that really pushes his buttons are assholes. He treats women with respect always, even if it might not seem as such to one of his jilted exes, and any man that does otherwise he has a serious problem with. He has been known to get into fights out and about at bars when he sees a man put his hands on a woman in a way that she doesn't appreciate, whether he knows her or not. In his opinion, that's just unacceptable, and he's not afraid of putting his nose in other people's business when it comes to that. His one true love would be classic cars. It has always been his dream to open up his own restoration shop. His main hobby is purchasing junked cars and bringing them back to life. He's had several over the years, most of which he has sold, but his baby, his pride and joy, is his 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS Z28, rally green with black interior. The car is like family. And even though he's been offered more than 35k for it, he wouldn't part with it for all the money in the world, and that's the truth. He's also a big fan of classic rock as well.  Personal Background: Alex was born in the middle of a hot summer in Lake Tahoe, CA to a typical american family. From a young age, he could remember being very loved, very safe, and very secure, as well as being very much attached to his older sister's hip. As a young child, he played dress up, dollies, and tea party with Serena like any good little sister would do. It wasn't until he reached the halfway point of elementary school, around the time when his sister stated middle school, that he realized this was not such a good idea and switched to toy cars instead. Cars have remained a passion ever since then.His younger years of life were pretty uninteresting. He lived in a small town where he couldn't get away with much though it wasn't until he started high school and his older sister left for college that he started to want to get away with more. He was into the street racing scene as soon as he was old enough to get his license, luckily enough never getting seriously injured. Compared to his sister, he was a nightmare to his parents, what with being brought home late at night by the local police and taking off with his friends for weekend long beer busts that ended when his father came and tracked him down. Alex wasn't incredibly popular in high school, preferring the company of his fellow gearheads over the jocks. Nonetheless, he was popular with the ladies and it was during his junior year when he became seriously involved with the future head cheerleader and homecoming queen. Her name was Natalia and she was beautiful. Not only that, she took an interest in everything that he did, his street racing, car restoration, all the things that most girls found to be unbearably boring. But unlike his sister, Alex had no aspirations to pursue higher education, so shortly after graduation, he and Natalia parted ways. She was college-bound and he was stuck in Lake Tahoe. It was after high school, after Natalia, that he became a different person. His life became about his work, his cars, with some time set aside for having fun. He started to drink more, but still not heavily, and date more though nothing serious, secretly holding on to the thought that eventually, after she graduated, Natalia would come back and they would pick up where they left off. Just recently, however, he found out through a mutual friend that she had gotten married more than a year ago. His reasons for staying in Lake Tahoe became even slimmer, so he jumped at the chance to drive his sister's things to Seattle, having remained close to her throughout the years in spite of the distance, and skipped out on sharing the detail with her and her parents that he had quit his job and had no intentions of going back.
